Diddy Dog’s First Blog

Lord of the Manor

This is me! Sunning myself on the terrace outside Sea Quest.

Hello friends!

It’s my turn to introduce myself. Diego here (Diddy Dog to my friends). I am a 3-year-old Boston Terrier with boundless energy and a personality to match. Number one Grandpuppy and pupfluencer. I live most of the time with my mommy in London – but mommy likes to go on trips to far off places without me – which means I get to go on my own holiday to my best Gma and Gpa’s house by the beach. Sometimes I go by train which I sort of like – the trains are pretty fast from Waterloo, and most people love to make a fuss of me. If I’m really lucky I get to snooze in my puppy car seat in the back of Gma’s car.

Last time I was on holiday I did some modelling to supplement my pupfluencer career. Gma & Gpa had some new photos taken of their lovely holiday apartments – and guess who was star of the show? It was a bit of an early start, and I am not usually a morning puppy. The promise of breakfast and sight of my lead soon had me moving. First stop was Branksome Beach to watch Gma and her mad dippy friends go for their morning swim in the sea. I did once try and join them, but the water is way too cold for my delicate toes. I don’t mind a paddle, but only if I am chasing my ball – Gpa doesn’t do cold water either and is always a ‘willing’ ball thrower. Most of the beaches are puppy friendly until 1st May and then there are two huge stretches of beach I am allowed on – luckily at the bottom of our beach road from the apartments.

The Dippy crew like to go for coffee and toast after swimming at the Rockwater café – I am allowed in there too and get my own bowl of water and snacks if I am good. The staff in there love me of course and make sure I am treated like the rockstar pupfluencer I am.

Living my best life with Gpa and my ball

Living their best lives!

After coffee we moved onto the serious business of photography – you can see the results of Harriet’s amazing skills here in this site – she’s a clever lady and I love her.

Once the excitement of taking photos was over, we went for a walk. It’s my favourite part of every day. I know all the best walks and can remind you when you forget to turn down the path onto the chine (sometimes they try and shortchange me and stay on the cliff top – I mean, really!).  We visited one of Gma’s friends at her beach hut – I was hoping her puppy who is my friend might be there, but he was at home with his daddy! We had fun running on the beach and eating ice cream (not for puppies this time, I am not a fan of ice cream) but I did get some snacks. Gma says I have to tell you that there are lots of beach huts you can rent for a day or two of your holiday – she can help with that – she has one from October to March which can be used if you ask her nicely.

Great news for anyone wanting to stay – if you have a small well behaved puppy like me you can bring them along…. Just check in with Gma or Gpa first so we can make arrangements for you. If I am in town, I might even pay you a visit.

That’s all for now friends, I have to go take a nap. It’s hard work doing all this pupfluencing & modelling.

Love, Diddy
